Battlefield 1's Winter Update Adds New And Old Content

Battlefield 1's winter update has gone live and that means a number of new features have been added to the World War I shooter, including content found in previous BF games. Looks like I have to redownload Origin.
Ribbons have returned: 20 in all to collect and each one allots 300 experience. Like previous games you'll earn ribbons by being a good teammate (get on that objective), meaning dropping supplies, healing, and popping headshots.
The max rank for classes has been increased to 50, and for every 10 new class ranks players will earn a Battlepack. Grinding all the way to 50 bestows you with Class flair, though I'm not sure exactly what it is.
Map voting is in. A thankful addition. At the end of a match players will cast their ballots for one of two maps.
The update also includes a long list of quality of life improvements and bug fixes, along with adjustments to weapons and maps, which you can glance over in the update notes, or experience for yourself by hopping back into Battlefield 1.
