Babylon’s Fall Introduces Duels Mode In Its First Post-Launch Update

Now that Babylon’s Fall players (or at least those who chose to stick it out) have had time to get acquainted with the looter shooter’s mechanics, they can now put their skills to the test in the new Duels mode. Duels basically pits players against tougher opponents in exchange for rare materials and accessories.
“Duels are grueling quests that pit you against extremely strong enemies called Warlords! The conditions for failure are also tough, so optimizing your gear and formulating a strategy with your party is highly recommended!”
Players will first need to complete the “Heart of the Blue Sun” quest before they can gain access to the Kur: Hard quest, which upon completion will open up Kur: Very Hard. Players who successfully complete the new Duels quests will have the chance to obtain a rare material called Dragon’s Horn and the Cobra Bangle accessory.
Meanwhile, player numbers continue to hold steady at a 24-hour peak concurrency of over 800 players which is pretty low by MMO standards but should be enough to sustain the game for the time being. The game’s poor reception is largely attributed to mediocre graphics, poor optimization, and generally being unpolished.
The full release notes can be found on the Babylon’s Fall official site.
