Atlas Reactor Open Alpha Today, Closed Beta April 14th, Founder's Packs Available

Atlas Reactor's final Open Alpha event begins today at 2 PM PDT. Everyone will get their final chance to try the game for free this weekend before the game enters Closed Beta. Incidentally, it was announced today that Closed Beta will begin on April 14th.

As you might have guessed, Trion also began selling Founder's Packs today. You can "pre-order" Atlas Reactor for a minimum of $9.99 and get access the moment Closed Beta begins, along with some extra goodies for their other titles. Paying for the $24.99 or $59.99 Founder's Packs will net you some extra in-game goods and varying amounts of automatic freelancer and skin unlocks. Paying for the $99.99 Founder's Pack will net you access to every freelancer and a skin for each one.

A new freelancer named Oz was announced alongside the Closed Beta announcements. He is a DPS-focused freelancer that is fairly squishy. He can create holographs of himself that "mirror his abilities." They can trade places with each other and "triangulate attacks." He can also place traps and deal damage via lasers or a "cone of photonic energy."
