Atlas Delayed (Again) Until Friday December 21
The buy to play sandbox fantasy MMO Atlas has officially been delayed again. The game is now scheduled to launch on Friday, December 21st. The game was originally set to go live on December 13th, but was pushed back until December 19th, and hopefully this last delay is the last one. In the meantime, the game released the following extended gameplay trailer:
The video has been bombarded with downvotes due to sudden delay which was announced 45 minutes after the servers were set to go live. While the game's launch schedule has always been ambitious (announcement to launch in a couple weeks), It's unacceptable to delay the game AFTER it was set to launch. They should have announced this delay sooner as apparently plenty of people took time off work to give Atlas a try.
While I'm certainly disappointed with the delay, I do plan on checking it out on Friday. Learn more about the game on its official steam page.
