Atlantica Online Lines Up Summer Event, New Transcendence Options, and Server Transfers

Long-running tactical MMORPG Atlantica Online is rolling out its July update on 10 July, mixing a beach-themed event with fresh character upgrades and some notable server changes. The patch arrives as the game, which originally released in 2008 and known for its turn-based squad battles, continues to streamline its global service while adding seasonal content to keep veterans engaged.

Beyond the usual cosmetics, this update expands the high-end Transcendence system to two additional mercenaries and sets deadlines for players affected by upcoming server closures. Here is a quick look at what’s coming:

• Acong Water Park event (10 July – 7 August) – Daily quests, elite mobs, login rewards, and a swimsuit collection offer extra gear-enhancement materials during the month-long summer event.
• Gorgeous Early Summer Hydrangea costume set – A new outfit themed around blooming hydrangeas joins the cash-shop lineup for players who want a seasonal look.
• Transcendence for Dharma and Dryad – Following upgrades for Gyebaek, Himiko, and Roro Kidul, these two mercenaries now unlock higher-tier skills and stats through the Transcendence system.
• Hydrangea skin for Dryad – A matching cosmetic option that ties in with the flower motif.
• Maya server closure – Character transfer requests must be submitted before the unspecified final deadline next month. Players who remain on Maya risk losing access once the server shuts down.
• Thailand service migration – The separate Thai server is also closing. VALOFE is preparing a transfer tool so affected accounts can move to the Global server.
• July Hoard event: Sanctified Order of the Paladins – A GCOIN-based contribution event that rewards players willing to spend the game’s premium currency.

With many older MMOs consolidating servers to maintain healthy population levels, Atlantica’s latest closures are not unusual. Still, players on Maya or the Thai service will want to complete their transfers promptly to keep progress intact. Everyone else can look forward to farming the newly reopened Water Park and testing out upgraded merc builds during the summer stretch.
