Webzen's long-awaited ASTA Online will finally be gracing Western shores tomorrow, November 3rd. Hyped as the Eastern world's World of Warcraft when it was announced, Webzen closed the Korean branch of servers on August 23, 2015. But publisher Polygon Games is committed to updating the game for the Western market.

ASTA is heavily embedded in Asian fantasy and features vibrant environments built on CryEngine 3. Drawing on Buddhist mythology, players will encounter strange creatures and disgraced gods. Following precedent, players will choose between two factions, three races, and five classes: Mage, Healer, Warrior, Archer, or Rogue.

The game first entered Open Beta in South Korea in October, 2013 and closed in August—a bit strange to release a game years later in the West, but Blade and Soul and Devilian have followed a similar trajectory.

Cruious players can pre-load ASTA by signing up for the beta on the game's website.
