ArtCraft Held A Crowfall AMA, Beta 1 Begins This Year

J. Todd Coleman and Gordon Walton of ArtCraft Entertainment held a Crowfall AMA on Friday, during which they answered a number of fan questions. Quite a lot of information was divulged, but perhaps the answer that most of you will be interested in is the one in which Walton divulges that Beta 1 will begin this year.

Other answers include notes that Crowfall will likely not enter a phase in which characters are permanent until it is ready to soft-launch, that the team would like to support SLI, but may not, that everyone will be able to take part in a free Open Beta test at some point, and that the team is planning to include a "'kneel' mechanic" so that guilds can swear fealty to other guilds to get "a portion of the reward" for winning a campaign, should the newly-formed "coalition" happen to win.
