ARK Releases Highlight Reel For Survival Of The Fittest Tournement
Early access survival game ARK: Survival Evolved has released a highlight reel containing the best moments from the first two rounds of their ongoing 'Survival of the Fittest' tournament series. The tournament was announced to show off the 'Survival of the Fittest' game mode and it sounds like a blast. 35 teams of 2 players are thrown into a massive arena completely naked. At the center of the stage there's a massive cache of weapons, equipment, and other goodies up for grabs. The only objective is to survive long enough to be the last team standing in this Battle Royal. As the match progresses, a force-field surrounding the arena begins to shrink, forcing surviving players to confront one another.

Jurassic Park meets The Hunger Games
The Survival of the Fittest mode sounds like The Hunger Games, but with the added awesomeness of dinosaurs. Adding to the excitement are cash prizes of $20,000 for the winning pair ($10k each), $10,000 for second place, and $5,000 for third in the first round. Gaming gear from Logitech and Gunnar Optiks is also up for grabs. The final round ends on October 24, 2015 so if you consider yourself a veteran of the survival genre with experience in titles like Rust, H1Z1, or DayZ, this just might be the excuse you need to pick up a copy of ARK.
