ARK Introduces Compys

The ankle-biters that are Compsognathus species of dinosaur are now in Ark: Survival Evolved. These carnivorous creatures are docile, but unafraid of humans on their own. When in groups, they form a "Compy Gang,"becoming aggressive and dangerous. Players have to watch out when Compys send out a distress call, as it is rather loud and can attract other Compys from a ways away. However, the team at Studio Wildcard notes that they are great pets for the same reason, able to notify your group of danger from a ways a way.

This update also adds several weapons and items. Players now have access to the "high-powered" Rocket Turret. Homing Sea Mines are made available to aid in defense while out on the water. Wall Lamps allow players to "light up [their] ARK home in an aesthetically pleasing manner." New Tribe Logs allow you to keep track of what your tribe is doing while you are offline.
