Co-op Roguelite Shooter ‘Arcadegeddon’ Makes Its Way To Steam

Arcadegeddon is a co-op roguelite shooter that recently made its way to Steam courtesy of IllFonic, the studio behind Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed and canceled MMO Revival. A mega corporation is trying to destroy the last arcade in town and its up to you and your friends to stop them.
“Gilly, the owner of a local arcade, is trying to save his business from a faceless mega-corporation, Fun Fun Co. ...and what better way to stick it to the man than with a brand-spanking-new super game. Unfortunately, the corp gets wind of Gilly’s plan and launches a cyberattack, injecting a virus into the game. Now it’s up to you, will you rise up to save both the game and the last remaining local arcade?”
Up to three players will be able to team up to “stick it to the man” as they explore six unique biomes, play minigames, search for hidden chests, and take on multiple enemy types and bosses. The game promises a mix of PvE and PvP content that let’s you play at your own pace, with a leaderboard for more competitive players.
Arcadegeddon is now available on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S with a $14.99 price tag. So far, its received “Mostly Positive” reviews on Steam so it might be worth checking out if you don’t mind buying-in.
