Albion Online's Elaine Update Adds The Highlands And The Keepers

Sandbox Interactive announced today that Albion Online's Elaine update has gone live, bringing with it the Highlands biome, the return of the Keeper faction, 36 new Artifacts, and more. The update is the first update to be made to the game since its Final Beta began on August 1st.

The Highlands are described as "a big green oasis, full of hills, river streams and waterfalls." Three types of resources are found there: Ore, Rock, and Wood. They are home to the Heretics and Keepers, the latter of which banished those that tried to settle their lands.

The Keepers will be bringing with them seven new Artifacts: "5 weapons, an off-hand item and a cloth armor set." Another 21 artifacts—"15 weapons, 3 off-hand items and 3 armor sets"—are being added as drops from the Demons of Hell.
