Albion Online Shakes Up Guild Warfare With The Start Of Guild Season 14

After the release of Albion Online’s world-changing Lands Awakened update earlier this week, Sandbox Interactive is now taking guild warfare to the next level as Season 14 officially kicks off in the sandbox MMORPG. The latest season introduces significant changes to guild vs. guild battles to make them more competitive and more exciting than ever before, including the addition of the new Conqueror’s Challenge.
“This season marks the beginning of the Conqueror’s Challenge, which replaces the previous Guild Season reward system and allows a wider range of playstyles to pursue and profit from season goals.”
The new Conqueror’s Challenge system allows solo players to earn season rewards without ever needing to be part of a guild. While guild members will still benefit from Guild Might Levels, the new system removes the pressure of having to join a guild for fear of missing out on additional rewards.
With the start of Season 14, players can now designate one of their Outlands Hideouts as a Headquarters Hideout which will make it invulnerable as long as the guild captures enough Power Cores throughout the season. Headquarters Hideouts will not only bring a whole new dynamic to guild warfare but will also allow smaller guilds to stay competitive.
“[. . .] Guilds who earn enough Season Points during Season 14 will be able to declare an HQ or upgrade to a higher tier/quality zone immediately, regardless of whether they qualified during the Energy Surge season. And of course, guilds who met the HQ Hideout requirements during the last season can already declare Headquarters in qualifying zones.”
