Albion Online Playerbase Continues to Surge, Averages 125,000 Daily Average Users (Not Concurrent)

Albion Online's playerbase continues to surge with the game reporting an 125,000 daily average users, up nearly 50% from the end of June. This isn't a concurrent figure, but is still representative of the game's active playerbase. Albion Online averages 8,300 players online at any given time on Steam alone. The game's playerbase is expected to jump further in the future as it works towards a mobile launch (on both Android and iOS).

Albion Online is one of many MMORPGs that benefited immensely from the Coronavirus lockdowns with its playerbase exploding higher. Its certainly not the only game though as practically every MMORPG saw a sizable jump in players. Final Fantasy XIV's average concurrent players jumped from 14,300 in March to 21,800 in the last 30 days.
