Albion Online Mobile Officially Launches On June 9 With Cross-Play And Cross-Progression

After being in open beta since November last year, the mobile version of Albion Online is officially launching next week, Wednesday, June 9 on Android and iOS devices. The mobile version will offer cross-play and cross-progression with the option to switch between the PC version and mobile at any time.

“Albion Online will officially release worldwide on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store on June 9, 2021. This latest milestone will fulfill the studio’s long-standing promise to deliver a fully cross-platform MMORPG experience to all fans of the genre. Rather than a simplified version of the PC client, Albion’s mobile version offers the complete game experience on the same single global server as the desktop version. Character actions and progression are persistent no matter which platform is used.”

To celebrate the launch, Sandbox Interactive will be giving away Tomes of Insight and a Chimera Riding Horse Skin to all players who login to the game through either the PC or the mobile version.
