Albion Online Officially Opens Up Its New East Server To Free-To-Play Players

After giving founder’s pack owners a five-day head start, Sandbox Interactive has officially opened Albion Online’s new East server to everyone else. The physical server is located in Singapore offering a lower latency experience and a fresh start for players in the East Asia and Oceania regions. Note that the server isn’t region-locked and is open to players outside of the said regions if they don’t mind a bit of lag.
“Initially, Albion East will have a reduced world size relative to Albion West, in order to maintain competitiveness and density of players,” said Sandbox Interactive. “As the player base grows on this new server, it is anticipated that more regions will be opened up, and its development will be constantly observed in order to judge this process.”
More information can be found on the Albion Online official site.
