Aion Classic 1.8 Update Goes Live Today - New PvP Arenas, New Abyss Treasure Room, & More
Aion Classic launched its 1.8 update today which introduced the Abyss Treasure Room, a new Wardrobe System, new PvP arenas, and much more. As with many other older MMORPGs, one key aspect of this update is to speed up the leveling process to get players to level 50 quicker.
Aion Classic is a free to play classic server for the fantasy MMORPG Aion. Both the classic and current version of the game are available for free through NCSoft, though there is an optional monthly subscription.
Aion Classic Update 1.8 Details:
- Wardrobe: Every character now has access to a wardrobe; only items which can be extracted can be registered in the wardrobe. But, players can now change the appearance of their equipment using the items registered in the wardrobe.
- Streamlined Leveling: The leveling curve has been adjusted to help players get to Level 50 quicker
- New PVP Arenas: The Crucible Coliseum has two new modes. The Arena of Discipline is a 1v1 PVP arena, to put players to the ultimate test, and the new Chaos mode is a free-for-all PVP mode with 6-10 players.
- The Abyss Treasure Room: Several new instances have been added to The Abyss – players can vie for control of the related fortresses, but the level requirements and rewards have been modified for Level 50 players.
