Aion Arrives On Steam

NCSoft's Long-Running Free-to-Play MMORPG Aion has officially launched on Steam. To aid in its prospective conquest of Steam users a new server, Beritra, has opened up for players who want a fresh start. This is an excellent move to pitch towards players who desire a more level-playing field for that first launch feel.

New packs were also added yesterday for new players who want to take the premium-route with the Empyrean Pack, Daevic Pack, and Ascended Pack. These packs include a ton of amenities—from the standard inventory management tools all the way up to mounts and pets that can carry items for you. The new packs are already available on Steam, and start at $24.99 USD and go all the way up to a whopping $99.99 USD in typical free-to-play style.
