CBM Interactive Is Relaunching Aika Online This October

Free-to-play fantasy MMORPG Aika Online is being resurrected later this year courtesy of its original publisher CBM Interactive. The game first launched in 2009 and was best known for its 1000 vs 1000 PvP battles. It ultimately shut down after a 12-year run in September 2021 alongside Granado Espada under the stewardship of T3Fun.

“Originally renowned for its sprawling fantasy universe, immersive storytelling, and intense Realm vs. Realm (RvR) battles, Aika Online Global won hearts during its initial launch. The forthcoming revival aims to resurrect the magic of the past while embracing modern gaming sensibilities,” CBM announced.

These modern trappings include revamped visuals, improved gameplay mechanics, and a renewed commitment to listen to and incorporate player feedback. The core game, however, will remain largely intact and will be set in the same universe, follow the same narrative, and will feature the same large-scale Realm vs. Realm PvP battles that the original game was known for.

Details are a bit scarce at the moment, but we’ll be sure to keep you update on any new information that comes up. The new Aika Online global website is now live with a countdown which shows less than two months until the game’s re-release.
