Carbine Studios Lays Off Over 70 People In Reorganization, Cancels WildStar China

Bad news comes from Carbine Studios today as the company announced that it has "completed a reorganization of its operating structure." As part of this reorganization, it is rumored that over 70 people have been laid off. Furthermore, Polygon has allegedly received reports stating that "those remaining only have a couple months left before WildStar 'coasts into the sunset.'"

Among those laid off are Matt aka CRB_Hotspur and Tom Cassera aka CRB_Hildogen.

Additionally, as part of the reorganization, Carbine Studios canceled WildStar's impending release in China, instead opting to focus on the US and Europe services.
