Pangea: New World is an upcoming MMO survival game with third person shooter and first person shooter elements. The game was undoubtedly inspired by other successful survival games like Rust and ARK: Survival Evolved, but Pangea tries something a bit different. The shooter elements seem to play a much larger role in Pangea than other survival, at least in the video I recorded. According to the developers, the game itself was inspired specifically by games like Stalker, Metro2033, and RAGE. The game aims to have an in-depth story, which is something largely missing from traditional survival games like Rust.
