This is episode seventy-four of the MMOs.com Podcast and we look at the most recent news and happenings in the MMO and gaming world. We started off with the weekly raid as usual which was "Does Bind on Pickup Gear Have a Place in MMORPGs?" We then discussed Fan Fest 2016 in Las Vegas and the new expansion for Final Fantasy XIV. Omer and Shurelya were both at Fan Fest and talked about their time there. We also talked about Smash+Grab and the sudden closure of the developer United Front Games. Afterwards we talked extensively about the topic of pay 2 win in MMORPGs. We had mixed opinions and this led to a heated discussion towards the end of the podcast and spilled over into the aftershow. Oddly, we forgot to talk about the closed beta date for Revelation Online, which is set to begin on October 25.
