Neverwinter PS4 Launch And Storm King’s Thunder Goes Live This Summer

Three years after its initial launch on the PC, D&D-based MMORPG Neverwinter is finally coming to PlayStation 4 in the summer of 2016 and, according to Perfect World Entertainment Communications Manager Alex Monney, “will feature all existing content from the base game, including eight playable classes and nine expansions worth of content giving you hundreds of quests to play through.” Like its PC counterpart, the PS4 version of the game will also be free-to-play and will not require a PlayStation Plus subscription. PC players also have reason to rejoice as Neverwinter’s tenth-expansion, Storm King’s Thunder, goes live on August of the same year. The much-awaited expansion’s storyline revolves around an uprising of giants in the northern reaches of Icewind Dale and comes with a new campaign as well as a new tier of Dungeon for players looking for a challenge.
