asdfedeadcxxefRetro Ronin has opened up a Kickstarter campaign for their voxel-based VRMMO, Voxelnauts.  Once only a category of dreams, new technologies such as the Oculus Rift are paving the way for future Virtual Reality MMOS, with Voxelnauts leading the charge.

Within the video, developers highlight some of the features of the game including:

  • Large persistent world.
  • Highly moddable, customizable content: ran by and owned by persons or other companies.
  • Limitless adventure through meta-verse, traversing different planets.
  • 3D Model to Voxel Model tools built in.
  • Play what you want:  Architect, Smith, Miner, Warrior, Designer, Explorer.... and more.

The only bad news is that we're going to have to wait until 2016 for the game's projected release. = (
