Das Tal is receiving a sizable budget increase from investors FFF Bayern and Chris Dickert, enough to add many proposed features and hasten development. The exact amount wasn't revealed, nor would I expect it to be, but whenever the money funnel is widened I take it as a good sign of a smooth project.
With newly found zeny Das Tal will be able to expand their team, and rehire former members. Game Director Alexander Zacherl cited the expansion as essential to complete future developments he outlined in a recent post.
I'm looking forward to Das Tal and hope this recent development signals a release sometime sooner than before.

Anime inspired action MMORPG Soul Worker will, almost certainly, be published by Gameforge in NA according to developer Lion Games' listed business partners on their website. Gameforge has not listed Soul Worker on their own website, nor has there been an official announcement.
But thanks to a YouTube video, complete with links, by Eccex, we know that Gameforge apparently purchased the domains soulworker.com, soulworker.de, and soulworker.org, among others. And soulworker.us (along with the others) was registered by Tobias Haar, an executive who has worked for Gameforge since 2008.

When will the game release in NA and EU? That's a great question. Considering the game just launched in Japan and the websites are not up, it may be a while, but fans can find some assurance that there are plans for Soul Worker to grace their shores.
Players unable to wait can play on Japanese servers using an English Patch, and a VPN.
Blizzard's Overwatch is entering its final Beta weekend starting Friday, April 15th and ending on April 16th at 9PM PDT. It's primary purpose is a stress test, which is why it will only last 36 hours. But all 21 heroes will be available to play, along with a selection of maps: Nepal, Route 66, and Hanamura. Weekly Brawl and Competitive Play will not be available during testing.

While there's no definite release date for MU Legend, formerly title MU 2, there's a new 8 minute trailer showing off flashy action RPG combat. South Korean players are currently gearing up for CBT1, with a global release to follow sometime after. Thanks to Steparu for posting the news and video.
MU Legend is an Unreal Engine 3 prequel of its predecessor. The game will feature 4 playable characters: War Mage, Blader, Whisperer, and Dark Lord.

TERA's next major content update Secrets & Shadows will have the elin ninja join the game. In the meantime En Masse Entertainment is running an event until May 3rd, in which players can win ninja-themed items.
By crawling through dungeons and entering battleground players will earn Shadow Letter Boxes, each containing one random letter. By combining randomly assigned letters into one of three words players unlock prizes:
SECRETS—Completing this word produces a prize box containing either a Nightfall costume, a ninja-themed accessory, or other consumables.
SHADOWS—Completing this word produces a prize box containing either a Bloodshadow costume, a ninja-themed accessory, or other consumables.
ENCHANTING—Completing this word produces an Enchanting Event Box containing a tier 8 or tier 9 enchanting scroll, or other enchanting materials.
Extra letters can be transformed into an Entry Ticket Maker to enter a contest for real life prizes, including one of three elin ninja statues.

Blade and Soul's 2.1 update Shattered Empire releases on April 27, 2016, expanding Mushin's Tower, adding two new dungeons and an entirely new PvP mode.
Players will be able to enter an objective-based 6v6 PvP game mode called Whirlwind Valley, no details have been announced yet as to how exactly the match will play out.
Two new heroic dungeons claim to be "the greatest group content challenge yet," named Sogun's Lament and Cold Storage.
And Mushin's Tower will be expanded (F9-15) to bolster the solo experience.
I'm curious to see how Whirlwind Valley functions in a game that strikes me as a smallscale fighting-game MMORPG.
While some enthusiasts celebrate an annual holiday on April 20th, Black Desert Online is gaining two new classes: Musa and Maehwa. And Daum Games have released two trailers showing off both classes. Previously the Mediah expansion released on March 30th, and this latest update is a good sign that Daum is committed to frequent updates for the NA/EU version of the game.
It's not clear if players will receive additional character slots.
As a small-scale PvP specialist the Musa unleashes attacks with swift movements, and excels in AoE-focused attacks. However, the Musa suffers in large scale PvP battles and has low defense points.

The Maehwa is the female couterpart to the Musa, and boasts similar stats. Wielding a Short Bow and Blade she weaves between enemies, toppling targets and finishing them off with her sword. However, unlike the Musa, the Maehwa specializes in one-on-one combat.
