Omer Stream (2 League Games, First Assault, & Brawlhalla)
League, First Assault, and Brawlhalla Stream with Omer
Streamed 2 ranked games of League of Legends on my Remotay account and then played a bit of First Assault from Nexon, then finished off with a short Brawlhalla session. I do plan on streaming more regularly! So expect more fun stuff =). The two league games were hit and miss. Did really well one game and did terrible the other. I had my excuses though, and they were excellent excuses! I had a lot of fun on First Assault too.
L&K Logic, the South Korean game developer and publisher best known for Red Stone, is officially launching Record of Lodoss War Online in "early 2016" according to an interview with the game's producer, Shinji Goda, in a Japanese magazine. The game has been in closed beta since our last announcement regarding the game and it looks like things are progressing smoothly. Unfortunately no North American release date has been announced, but given that the game is inching closer to release, fans of the retro anime franchise have something to get excited about.
Record of Lodoss War Online - Official Teaser Trailer
Graphically speaking, Record of Lodoss War Online doesn't look too impressive. In fact, the game looks almost identical to L&K Logic's other title, Red Stone. The similarities are uncanny. Perhaps the two games are built in the same engine? This seems odd, because Red Stone isn't exactly a "new" MMORPG. The game originally launched back in 2004, so it seems silly to use it as a base for a newer title. Despite my reservations about the graphics, using the same engine as Red Stone may not be a terrible idea, because despite its age, the game is still around after all these years. Even though there's no North American release yet, I suspect L&K will localize the game as they've been self-publishing Red Stone globally without needing to rely on a publisher.
Genesis Online is a free to play sandbox game that copies games like Minecraft and Sky Saga. It's available for free on Steam and was developed and published by Russian game developer Shumkov Dmitriy. The game largely received negative reviews on Steam and is definitely not a unique title...
Entropia Universe AB announced today that they have unleashed the Ethereal "Invisible" Armor upon the game's real-cash economy webshop. For only one payment of $5000, you too can own this "extremely rare" armor that you can't even show off. If interested, you will want to purchase them quickly, as there are only 25 available. They officially went on sale at 1 PM UTC today.
Entropia Universe has a culture of absurdly large transactions for its in-game items, but that doesn't make each new transaction any less absurd. The draw here is clearly the exclusivity of the item. You could be one of only 25 owners! But one has to wonder why you would intentionally spend $5000 on invisible armor.
How likely are you to purchase one of these beautifully crafted sets of invisible armor?
Warframe: The Second Dream was heralded as Warframe's largest update yet when it launched on PC earlier this month. The update brought a new Warframe that introduced a new combat paradigm, cinematic quests, among other new additions. The update saw an "incredible fan reaction," supposedly even "bringing some to tears as the emotionally evoking cinematic quest uncovers long-awaited secrets." Since the game launched three years ago, fans have been asking what a Warframe is and who the Tenno are. This update finally begins to answer that.
This tear-jerking update is now live on PS4. It's two weeks after their PC brethren, but PS4 players can now learn the game's most well-kept secrets. Also included are the previously-mentioned new Warframe, a new PvP map, and a new Sortie system.
You can check the video below for an overview of the full update.
