Neverwinter: Underdark Finally Hits Xbox One

Nearly three months after its initial launch on PC, Neverwinter's Underdark expansion is now available to Xbox One players. If you're an Xbox One player that felt like they were missing out on adventures with Drizzt Do'Urden and the 10-player fight against Demogorgon, fear not. These adventures are now just a login away.

This expansion adds a Rage of Demons-inspired storyline penned by R.A. Salvatore. Demonic Encounters now occur in the open world in addition to Heroic Encounters. Two new end-game skirmishes can be played through, each of which can be completed in two different ways. The Gear Preview feature is now available for all players. Strongholds have received "a new resource plot and PvP tower." And then there's the new 10-player Demogorgon encounter.

The launch of Underdark on Xbox One marks one step closer to the Neverwinter team's goal of launch parity for each expansion. With any luck, Neverwinter's next expansion—The Maze Engine—will have an even smaller Xbox One launch gap.
