Neverwinter Enters The Underdark November 17th

The release date for Underdark, Neverwinter's latest expansion, has been set. Players can enter the eponymous Underdark on November 17th and take part in a questline written by R.A. Salvatore. At the end of the questline, players will take part in a 10-person battle against Demogorgon, the two-headed Demon Lord. This fight will be fought side-by-side with fan-favorite Drizzt Do'Urden, among others.

In addition to this new questline, several other major additions will be making their way into the game on November 17th. Strongholds will have a new plot and PvP tower unlocked. Demonic Heroic Encounters will provide replayable events that scale to the amount of players involved.

Unfortunately, the expansion will only be making it into the PC version on November 17th. Xbox One players will have to wait until early next year to take part. If you haven't yet, be sure to check out our interview with Scott Shicoff for more information about the upcoming expansion.
