Final Fantasy Type-0 Online Announced

Square Enix announced the development of Final Fantasy Type-0 Online at the Tokyo Game Show 2015. The game will be replacing the cancelled Final Fantasy Agito, and developed by Chinese development studio Perfect World. As of this time information is spiced with rumors so it's difficult to be certain of anything specific. But it is fact that the game is being developed for mobile devices, with PC as a possible contender.

North America and Europe are, as of this writing, being considered for release. It is being devleoped with a global audience in mind, and if recent video game exports from the East are any indicator it's likely Final Fantasy Type-O will find its way to Western smartphones eventually. The beta test will begin in China and the game will launch sometime Q2 2016.
