Daum Attempts To "Suppress" Goldsellers In Black Desert Online
Despite the buy-to-play model and heavy restrictions on trading, various goldsellers and online stores for buying Black Desert Online's cash shop items at a discount have popped up, engulfing the usual Channel chat guild recruitment spam. The manner in which they had been selling gold involves buying potions and trading them to another player who would then sell them for gold. Daum is attempting to "suppress" them by making all traded items character bound. Should someone trade you potions, you can no longer sell them. Channel chat costs will remain the same for the time being despite the increased amount of spam.
Several other minor changes were made in this patch. The character limit in chat has been raised to 350. The Liverto Staff has been added as a drop on the Boss Scroll boss, Hexe Marie. You can find the full list of changes here.
Additionally, if you played on a Serendia channel on day one of the Conqueror's head start, you will be receiving a name change coupon very soon. This will allow you to apply for a name change between the time you receive it and March 23rd at 8 AM UTC. The swap will then occur during maintenance on March 30th.
