Chronicle: RuneScape Legends Closed Beta Begins

Chronicle: RuneScape Legends officially entered Closed Beta earlier this week. The online multiplayer board game spin-off of RuneScape allows players to pick one of four "Legends"—iconic characters from the RuneScape universe—and set off on an adventure to prove that they are the most powerful adventurer. The game takes place over five turns called "chapters." In each turn, players will play several cards that their Legend will encounter. Monster cards will drop gold which can then be used on other cards. At the end, you face off against the other player's hero in an epic showdown of sorts.

Chronicle boasts a "deep card-crafting system" and "sophisticated deck building" among other features. Over 270 cards are currently available with more on the way. A detailed 3D board provides an extra level of immersion.
